"You were right. The first lesson my dog got it all; the others were for me!"
-Thank you ! Barb & "Belle"

"You told me dogs were brilliant and that we would both have fun. We did and still are."

"I read all your articles in "Fido Friendly" magazine out of Fresno, California. I called you on the phone ... (before I got my computer) and I was impressed you called me back, helped me with my dog problem, and even took the time to make a little video for my particular problems. You're amazing! Yes, it all worked. My dog is really my best friend now!"

"With my arthritis I couldn't even think about even walking my dog for long and was thinking of giving her up. I met you and you convinced me that "Bonnie" and I could do Agility! Well, we aren't fast but we're accurate and we are getting good. My arthritis? Well, I must say I am more limber now and being active has helped, but most of all it is the support and encouragement I get doing the course from you and the wonderful staff. "Bonnie" is so attentive to me now and has become a real companion for me."
Cheers...Estelle

"You gave a talk at my son's school about not having to be a hard core Athlete to enjoy a dog sport and to learn how to work as a team. That the human is the team leader (he liked that part) and the things to learn are how to be fair, have fun, look for the challenge and let your self and your dog enter the adventure of it all and just do your own personal best. He came home and wanted me to sign a consent form so he could join up. You don't know this, but my son was in trouble in and out of school. The only thing he seemed to like was his dog. So I signed it and he started. Of course I had to drive him and I had to be there. (In the background of course). After a few lessons he was getting a bit frustrated at times and I was sure he would quit. But there you and your staff were with encouragement and some tough love letting him know quitting was not an option; he had signed his dog and himself on for 8 sessions and both members of the team have to want to quit and his dog was still eager to meet the challenge and reach out for the adventure. I heard you say something about "Trust and Respect" in all relationships, human and canine. You told him to take a break and let his dog have a rest and both of them should have a drink of water and "talk" over their game plan. Before he walked away, I saw you reach out and shake his hand, pat him on the shoulder and tell him, "I trust in your good judgement about your choice of what it is your "team" will do." I thought to myself, " What is that? Are you crazy?" I watched my son from the shadows; he sat quietly stroking his dog in near tears, the dog was licking his face and looking out to the course where everyone seem oblivious to his dilemma. The next thing he and his dog were jogging out into the course to join in with his class. You gave him a smile and a knowing nod of your head. I know I caught you by surprise when, as you came out at the end of class to say good night to the parents and answer any question, I grabbed you and gave you a hug. Well, after all that went on I had to hug someone, and I knew my 15 year old son didn't want to be embarrassed by being hugged by his mom in public. My son is a part of this family once again; he accepts responsibility and often takes on things within the community on his own accord. He wants to be a part of your young handlers team and he feels he can make a difference to other kids and helpful to adults too. He is dream kid........thank you . Oh, don't tell him I wrote this. Please!"
-One happy Mom!
